Hannah Kelly (DLA 2019)

A year to remember

As one of our Discipleship and Leadership Apprentices (DLA). You will receive amazing training from Stewards' Trust, HTB College and OneLife, while working as part of our Youth Team.

In a nutshell

The Discipleship & Leadership Apprentice (DLA) is about growing disciples of Jesus and equipping future leaders, who will transform the world.

We believe in ‘discipleship through doing’ and that the best way to develop leaders is to empower and support people to take on new situations and responsibilities.

The main way you will develop and grow as a disciple and leader is by serving as a member our Youth Team. This experiential learning is combined with high quality training that will set you up to lead well, whatever your future holds.

What's the twist?

As well as recruiting for our established DLA role, we've also developed a new role in partnership with Trinity School, Sevenoaks.

The 'Chaplaincy DLA' will split their time equally between the Stewards' Trust and Trinity, while still receiving all the great training we provide alongside HTB College and OneLife.

Two positions available:

  • Established DLA (only DLA job spec is relevant)
  • Chaplaincy DLA (both job specs are relevant)

Who is it for?

The DLA is for those who want to grow as a disciple of Jesus and lead others to do the same through the work of the Stewards’ Trust.

There is an occupational requirement for the Chaplaincy DLA to be male because of the existing team structure and the need to be able to offer the boys at Trinity one to one mentoring.

Both roles are targeted at university leavers, who love Jesus and are up for a year of service and adventure. If that's you, we would love to hear from you.

What else?
